Vodafone, the country's second largest telecom company, has brought a special offer for its users. Under its offer, those users will be given 4GB 4G data free, which upgrade to the SuperNet 4G SIM. Vodafone said, "We are offering free data to our users when we have 200 million subscribers".
According to the reports, the company is giving 9 GB free data to the selected users for 3 months. That is, the user will be given 3 GB data in one month. This plan is only available for postpaid users. Additionally, users will not have to pay any extra fee for this.
It is believed that Vodafone has offered this plan to give tough competition to Reliance Jio. Geo recently introduced Dhan Dhan Dhan, offering unlimited local and STD voice calls, SMS and data to the users.
Prior to this, Vodafone introduced this kind of plan for prepaid and postpaid users. Under this, users who upgrade to 4G will be given 4 GB data. This plan was launched for consumers of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In a statement, the company said, "If prepaid users upgrade to Vodafone SuperNet 4G SIM, they will be given 4 GB data for 10 days. This is a forest time offer. At the same time, postpaid users will get this offer till their next billing date.
